Using the Sleep Calculator

If you want to calculate your perfect bedtime to wake up feeling refreshed and energized, follow these steps:

  1. Open the calculator

    Click on the button above to calculate your perfect bedtime. Don't worry: no download or install is required to use this app!
  2. Pick a calculation tab

    First, select the correct calculation tab: Do you want to know when to go to bed so you can get up at a specific time? Or is it the other way around?
  3. Open settings

    Click on the button in the bottom right corner to open the settings.
  4. Enter your data

    Use the sliders to enter your desired bedtime, your age and the average time you need to fall asleep.
  5. Pick your time

    After updating the settings, our sleep calculator displays a list of suggestions. Simply pick one of the recommended ones and set your alarm accordingly.
